One vs one = Deinonychus got no chance. One kick from the powerful hindlegs of an Ornithomimid and it's a knock-out. But of course this scenario wouldn't have happened, as a dromaeosaur would be dumb attacking bigger prey alone.
IT IS FANTASTIC JOB
White-tailed Sea Eagle and Red-crowned Crane! Birds of Far East Asia!
Ouch! Poor Deinonychus! It will be severely wounded!
Everybody knows kung fu fighting!
Coloured after Haliaeetus albicilla and Grus grus, it would seem.
raptor fighting master crane
Both the photo and your work are epic!
Dinobird fights Bird-mimic! That was a cool drawing that I ever seen!
Awesome! I like how you do maniraptoran wings in side-profile.
Earthflight has a sequence that essentially depicts this. (In fact the picture you referenced may be a still from it, but I'm not certain.)
That is one of the coolest things I've ever seen.
Damn, I'm pretty sure that kick could kill the dromie.
